Personal Statement
I would love to be able to contribute to the success of a US college team while also having the chance to achieve a strong academic qualification.
Golf for me is about the spirit of the game and the friendships I have made with players of all ages and backgrounds. I am a strong team player and developed my leadership skills as junior team captain and vice-captain as well as coaching younger players who are new to the game through the Durham City Golf Academy, supporting the Club Professional with whom I am about to start work on obtaining my Level 1 coaching qualification.
I am determined, studious, calm, confident and quick to learn and I am passionate about developing myself and taking my golf game to the next level. I am committed to my strength and conditioning training, and I aim to maximize my performance in all aspects of the game of golf.
I hope to successfully balance both my golf and studies to give myself as many opportunities as possible in the future. Academically I am most interested in Business, Law and Finance but I am keen to experience everything that the US college system has to offer.
