Personal Statement
Golf is my passion and I have completely fallen in love with the game. I live next door to a challenging course- Childwall, where I was Junior Captain in 2019. During my time, I led Childwall’s Junior Team to 4th place at the England North West Competition. I am also a member of the Childwall Ladies’ Scratch Team and have been a member of The West Lancashire Golf Club. Consequently, as a result of my experience so far, I am convinced that my future in golf lies with playing competitively, at a high level.
Currently, my handicap is 11 , but I realise to succeed in any sport, I must seek to learn from wherever I can obtain expertise. However, I am also aware that not everyone can be successful in professional sport, so I appreciate that good academic qualifications are essential to my future.
The PEAKUSA programme will give me the opportunity to enhance my golfing ability, together with developing my academic abilities. In addition, it will present me with new challenges, together with the opportunity to widen my golfing and educational experience.
