Personal Statement
I first started playing when I was 6yr old and became hooked. At 8 yrs I entered my first par 3 competition and won a full set of PING Moxie clubs and since then I haven’t looked back. I’ve always had a huge passion for sport and find the personal challenge of golf so rewarding as it requires total commitment, determination and perseverance. Whilst golf is a big part of me, I feel a strong education is important to give more options for the future and something to lean back on if I don’t achieve a professional career in golf.
I’m eager to learn and improve my golf as much as possible. I am a strong team player and willing to work hard for a team. I enjoy competing and training and believe this would be an exceptional opportunity to combine study and golf. I feel ready for a new level of independence, and I’m looking forward to experiencing a new culture, travelling and meeting new athletes with similar mindsets and dedication.
My dream has always been Pro-Golf but I appreciate this is a journey. I am prepared to work hard and see where it leads me and be grateful for the opportunity.
