Personal Statement

Since my Dad brought me my first set of plastic clubs it has been my dream to play successfully on the LPGA Tour. I am a passionate enthusiastic golfer. I know that this is something that could be accomplished with a lot of effort and perseverance, which I have the determination to do. Golf is my top priority but obtaining an academic qualification and having a backup plan in the unlikely event that I do not make it is also crucial to me. I enjoy working as part of a team because it seems to bring out my best qualities. I’m excited to hear from and learn from my peers, and I’m ready to put in the effort necessary to advance to the next level. I’m looking forward to learning about a new culture, making new friends, and traveling, and I want to make the most of my time playing collegiate golf. I am enthusiastic about the future as with my determination and self-motivation I am confident that I can keep improving to reach the level required to play tour golf and along the way plan to enjoy my college career and hopefully secure an NCAA title and an play in the Olympics.
