Personal Statement
I have always had a passion for sports and competition. From horse-riding, running and field hockey finally to golf. Even though horse-riding runs strongly in my family, from the age of 10 it became apparent that my true passion was in golf and so my ambition to become a professional tour golfer emerged. This ambition has grown stronger with each passing season as I have immersed myself in the British amateur tournament schedule and have dedicated huge amounts of my time to analyzing my performance and practicing to improve. The obvious place to take this to another level, and ultimately achieve my ambition is in the U.S Collegiate system. I love being part of a team, I am keen to learn from coaches and peers, and to experience new cultures and ideas. I am really excited to be part of an athletic program with regular tournaments to play in, and other sports to watch and support. I realize that bumps will exist in the road and although I am dedicated to working hard at my golf I realize the value of a great education to support me if needed.
