Personal Statement
Golf has long been a passion of mine; the accomplishment I gain from practice, training and performance are what makes it so appealing and engaging for me. I strive for high standards in all aspects of education, and academic achievement is of high importance to me. This also extends to golf, I know that I have the control over my success and my strong work ethic and desire to keep improving will allow me to reach my goals.
Playing Collegiate golf in America has for some time been my aim. I enjoy being part of a team and thrive in this situation, some of my best performances have been when part of a team. Also the idea of experiencing a different environment and culture is an exciting one. I hope that what I gain from it will not only help me to advance my golf game but also develop my confidence and skills which will lead me towards the career and industry I aim to be in.
I would love to play professional golf myself but a career as a teaching professional where I could use my growing knowledge of the game to teach others is also something I am keen to pursue.
