Personal Statement

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious. Three keywords which describes me best.
  • Sports have always been a big part in my life. I played hockey for 8 years at a very competitive level in Holland, winning multiple regional championships with my team. I also had dancing lessons (jazzballet) for 10 years and I am a great skier.
  • Since 2019, I began to focus fully on golf and I have been part of the Dutch National Team U18. My lowest score so far in tournaments is a 66. I play a lot of national and international tournaments and have won several of them. My strengths are my driving accuracy, shortgame and winning mentality.
  • I am a hard worker, on the course and in the gym but also at school. I study at the highest level of high school in the Netherlands (VWO). The school allows me to practice and play close to 35 hours a week. My GPA after 9th grade was 3.9 and at the end of 10th grade was 3.4.
  • My goal is to continuously improve myself, supported by a professional team of technical, mental, physical and nutrition coaches. I work hard on all aspects of my game. In 2025 I want to join a competitive D1-college golf team. After college, my goal is to play at the LPGA and become one of the best players in the world.
