Personal Statement
Ever since I met Gemma Dryburgh when I was wee, I’ve always wanted to play collegiate golf, turn pro and I’ve dreamed of playing in the Solhiem Cup, representing my country. When I was 9 I won against a 17 year old boy, it was the best feeling. That’s when I realised I can compete and win against anyone I play. This gave me the belief to pursue a career in golf. I love playing in my Junior and Senior county team. I help to motivate and support them to play their best. I love learning from the experience of senior players, especially a former Curtis cup player. I want to continue to improve my game, by hard work and feedback from the best people I can work with. I always imagine turning pro on the LPGA tour and winning majors. I am also thankful for traveling opportunities that come with golf, as I love traveling. Being the first in my family to gain a degree in the states would be a great personal achievement. I want to work as hard as I can to make my dream come true, playing collegiate golf will help me grow and achieve this.
