Personal Statement
My dream is to play golf professionally, and I see college golf as a crucial step in making that dream a reality. I’ve been competing for four years now, and although I was a relatively late starter, the progress I’ve made—driven by my attitude, ambition, and work ethic—gives me confidence in what I can achieve moving forward.
Balancing my GCSE studies with competitive golf required me to be highly organised, dedicated, and disciplined. Finding the right balance between academics and sport has developed skills that I believe will serve me well in college life. I’m excited about the opportunity to further my education while continuing to progress on my path toward a professional golf career.
Hard work and commitment are qualities I take pride in. I am relentless in pursuing my goals, and I believe this mindset will continue to push me forward. While I’ve grown through individual competition, I’ve also thrived in team environments. From early on, I’ve challenged myself by playing with stronger players, and this has motivated me to continually raise my level of performance.
The opportunity to study and compete in the United States truly excites me. I look forward to embracing a new culture, making lifelong friendships, traveling, and making the most of everything collegiate golf has to offer—both on and off the course.
