Personal Statement
I began playing golf in late 2022, and by the summer of 2023 I had discovered a true passion for the game and started competing regularly. Sport has always played a significant role in my life, both in and out of school, and I thrive on the adrenaline and competitiveness that high-level sport provides. Golf, with its unique emotional highs and lows, challenges me mentally and physically both on and off the course, and this is why I have fallen in love with the game.
I believe that attending college in the United States would be an incredible opportunity, allowing me to continue developing as a golfer to compete at the highest NCAA or NAIA level that I can, while also balancing this with my academic progression. Over the past few years, hours of practice and competitive rounds have taught me discipline, determination, and resilience under pressure, plus the ability to embrace both success and setbacks. I strongly believe I possess the mindset and work ethic needed to succeed, and I am excited about the possible opportunity to learn, train, compete, and contribute to a team of talented golfers. While continuing to pursue national championships and becoming an elite amateur golfer.
