Personal Statement

Ever since I heard of a possibility of being able to do a golf and academic scholarship in a University abroad, it was instantly what I wanted to do as it seemed perfect for the goals and aspirations I have and want to achieve in the future. I love the idea of being in a new place and culture, being independent and meeting new people while improving my golf and academics. I would love to be able to be good enough to possibly be able to choose whether to become a professional, I have many different ambitions for life but becoming a professional golfer is the biggest. Although along with this I also believe my academics are just, if not more important than sport with being successful in my future work, it excites me to be able to see what opportunities I will be coming across. I understand I am further behind with my golf statistically wise, but I am prepared to spend the next 1-2 years improving my handicap as I believe I have everything else it takes to obtain the best scholarship and opportunities possible.
