Personal Statement

I’ve always wanted to be a Professional Golfer in the future. I love the competitive, challenging and social aspects of golf and always aim to achieve my maximum potential. I believe that attending a University in America will help me to achieve this. Attaining an academic qualification is also important to me. I am currently studying at college for two years where golf is part of the course and I have been able to successfully combine the academic requirements with a full schedule of golf coaching, competitions and fitness training. I love being part of a team and learning from my peers and am keen to take this on to the next level by remaining focused, determined and hard working. I regard myself as a good team player and solo player and am always looking to improve my game. I love making new friends and aim to bring a positive and vibrant team spirit to collegiate golf. My aim would be to successfully represent the university, be a good ambassador and improve my golf to a level that I could make the decision to turn professional.
