Personal Statement
Since the first time I picked up a golf club at the age of three I have had a passion for golf. Over the years I have directed that passion into a drive to play to the very highest standard, and the opportunity to play in the US for a leading team is something I now aspire to. Throughout my school years I have also played competitively in rugby and football teams, both teaching me the value of team dynamics and working as one, adding a valuable dimension to my golf, which to date has mainly been played as an individual. I bring to my golf game commitment, dedication and an appreciation for the team. Whilst taking a positive approach to self learning, I also respect and work well with my coaching staff, quick to take on board constructive feedback and learnings. A strong work ethic combined with a will to succeed are central to my golf ambition and studying in the US will provide me with the unique opportunity to play against the best student amateurs whilst both testing and improving my game, and paving the way to achieving a Tour Card.
