From a young age, it was pretty clear to everyone who knows me that I would be a competitive force.  I’ve tried numerous individual and team sports through various clubs and at school but the one that stood out to me the most was golf.

A scholarship in the US would be a turning point in the making of my golf career as I know that I’m not even halfway to reaching my full potential; due to the lack of lessons and guidance over the years.  I’m not trying to pretend that I already know everything about golf and what it takes to be a professional because I don’t.

I really want this scholarship because I want to learn to eventually be the best, I want to be critiqued and I want to be pushed.

Another thing that stands out to me as well, is that even though I’d be playing individually, I’d also be playing for a team which personally, I think is one of my strong points.  I thrive when surrounded by people who want the same success and I know that being around a team would push me that much harder.

2023 

• Won the Huddersfield Golf Club Lady Captains Junior Trophy for 18 and 36 holes and came 3^rd place overall for Gross, Division 1. Overall, came 9/67 in the two-day competition
• Represented Huddersfield Golf Club Ladies Scratch Team (played in two matches).  The Huddersfield Golf Club Scratch Team qualified for the Regional Finals held at Moor Allerton Golf Club which I played in.  Overall, the Huddersfield Golf Club Scratch Team were runners up
• Came Joint 2^nd Place Gross / 5^th Place Nett at the Yorkshire County Championship – 18 Hole Strokeplay at Bradford Golf Club 
• Came 4^th/78 in the English Schools Golf Association (mixed) competition at Howley Hall Golf Club.  79 Gross, 69 Nett (40 Points Stableford) 
• Came 4^th overall at the Halifax, Huddersfield District Union Golf Individual Strokeplay Championship.  83 Gross, 73 Nett. Then reached the semi-finals in the playoffs 2022

2022

• Won the Huddersfield Golf Club Lady Captains Junior Trophy for 18 and 36 holes – 79 Gross
• Represented Huddersfield Golf Club Junior Team
• Represented Huddersfield Golf Club Ladies Scratch Team (played in three matches)
• Came 3^rd in the Halifax, Huddersfield, District Union Golf Junior Team Championship 
• Won the Halifax, Huddersfield, District Union Golf Lightcliffe Trophy for Best Nett Score (64 Nett, 77 Gross) held at Elland Golf Club

2021

• Represented Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association – Yorkshire County 2^nd Team v’s Yorkshire Mid Amateurs with a Team Win 
• Awarded the Huddersfield Golf Club Ladies Millennium Trophy for the highest handicap reduction from 12.2 to 8.1 
• Made the cut and came 8^th overall for my division in the Faldo Series at Rhuddlan Golf Club 
• Won the Huddersfield Golf Club Lady Captains Annual 2-day competition. Name also on Honours Board 
• Came 1^st in the Huddersfield Golf Club Ladies 9 Hole competitions 
• Represented the Huddersfield GC Ladies Evening League – played in two matches (won one, halved one) 
• Represented the Huddersfield Golf Club Junior Team, (won match 9/8) 
• Won Best Girl Junior Player of the Year at Huddersfield Golf Club

2020 

2020 was spent practicing when possible due to COVID restrictions.  Hardly any competitions open at Regional, County and Club Level.

• 02.08.2020 Came 2^nd in the Halifax, Huddersfield, District Union Golf Junior Team Championship held at West End Golf Club (80 Gross, 67 Nett) with the 2^nd best individual score overall
