Personal Statement
I came to golf relatively late but since I began playing, my dream has been to earn a US scholarship. I aspire to be a professional on tour and am prepared to work hard to achieve this. I’m a very motivated, tenacious person and I’m determined to achieve. I’m aware of how much is required of me and will always put in as much effort as possible to reach and exceed my goals. Whilst golf is my main priority, I’m also very academic and I don’t view this as something simply to fall back on; I always work hard and take pride in my academic successes just as much as my golf. I genuinely enjoy practicing and working to become a better golfer at every opportunity. I’m a very competitive person; I enjoy the friendly competition of playing as part of a team and working together to achieve our goals. I’m excited about the new experiences I will gain and the people I’ll meet and work with to get the most out of college golf.
