Personal Statement
I started playing golf at the age of 6 winning my first competition the same year. From that moment on I was hooked. My goal is to become a successful professional golfer on tour. Playing golf competitively from an early age has taught me some very valuable lessons and I am under no illusions that it is going to take hard work, drive and determination to achieve my goal. I am equally committed to my academic studies aiming for good grades to give myself the best opportunities. I also believe that my experience in boarding and staying away from home has made me a more independent and mature individual. I enjoy playing in a team as I feel it brings out the best in both my personality and my golf. I am excited about the future and the possibility of studying in a new environment with the chance to experience new cultures and improve my golf.
