Personal Statement
I have always dreamt of playing golf in America since I was a little girl. Playing golf on the course with my dad since the age of 8 really inspired me to never give up and to be the best version of myself every single day. I have tunnel vision in terms of what I want to achieve and the goals that I set for myself; I perform well under pressure which also makes me a great team player. I understand what it takes to compete against my peers, and I would love to explore this even further in college golf.
My coach has helped me to gain some important life skills such as keeping myself grounded and always being able to believe in myself but never expecting too much of myself, which I think is vital, especially in golf. The academic side is important to me too, I am very conscientious when it comes to my studies, I always put in 100% effort and try my best.
I am so excited to see what the future brings, travelling around America whilst playing the sport I love and meeting new friends will make my younger self’s dream come true.
